Focus on the development and growth of skills utilizing wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. Also includes the study of surface treatments and glazing in the creation of functional and sculptural high fire stoneware. Excellent facilities and individual instruction by professional studio potter and Massachusetts licensed teacher. Fee includes clay, glazes, firing.

Focus on both wheel and hand-building techniques, as well as decorating and glazing high fire stoneware. Classes are for 7th through12th graders and all instruction is individualized from beginner to advanced.  Lynne will take names for a waiting list. 

A student tool kit is recommended at a cost of $15. Fee includes clay, glazes, firing.

In this class students will focus on producing quality functional wares and creative sculptural pieces. Primary methods include wheel throwing and hand building. We will be concentrating on various techniques for finishing clay surfaces. There will be opportunities to explore mixed media projects and raku firing.

Students should bring to class: pin tool, cut off wire, basic wood tools, sponges, towel,and apron.  Fee includes clay, glazes, firing.
