About the Class or Event
SAORI weaving is a contemporary improvisational weaving started in Japan. Mihoko Wakabayashi has opened the first registered SAORI studio in Worcester, MA in 2000. In this demonstration she will show how she weaves on a SAORI loom and introduce some of the techniques and possibilities.
The first demo will be at 1:00 pm. It will be repeated at 2:00. The demos are FREE but registration is requested.
