Landscape is a major inspiration for me. Walking in the woods, through the marsh, and along the shore drawn me to the patterns, colors, forms and contrasts. I enjoy the challenge of creating forms in clay, exploring expressive surfaces and playing with slips, glazes, resists, printing, pouring, and finger painting for results. Some pieces reveal recognizable images and patterns while others are more abstracted. My intention is to share a sense of love and respect of place.
