The creation of The Fun's Over - an exploding funfetti grenade- was a lesson in acceptance and resistance during every step of its concept and assembly. It required finesse of a finnicky clay (porcelain), hand-building, as well as welding and understanding cold connections. This work was made in response to our treacle-y society where inequities reign, our rights are dwindling and democracy is at risk.
