I grew up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. Neighbors always stopping by for coffee or lending a hand. Growing up with this community, I learned the value of human connection. How smiling or saying hello can make someone’s day. This feeling of gratitude and connection is what I aimed to convey in my piece.
