Saeeda Carrimjee began working with clay while studying at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Saeeda experiments with several techniques, among them handbuilding, wheel throwing, sgraffito and stamping are a few favorites. She draws her inspiration from nature.

Saeeda chose the name "Mitti", meaning "clay" for her home studio. She is also a part of a LEXARTS where she enjoys working and sharing ideas with other ceramist.
