HOPE is a terra cotta clay sculpture that I created in 2020 of Jamaal Eversley, a friend and former student of mine at Babson College, when I ran the ceramics program. Being a collaboration, he painted HOPE with acrylics. Aspiring to create change, HOPE holds either of Eversley’s canvases honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., or the Boston Women’s March.
