Cherishing what I have learned

Porcelain, porcelain paperclay; oxide wash inlay; oxidation fired to cone 10

10.75 x 10.75 x 1.5

This work was inspired by a phrase from Mary Oliver's poem "To Begin With, the Sweet Grass": "I have become older, and cherishing what I have learned, I have become younger." The phrase appears as a running, repeated meditation in the work.
