Creative Photography: Painting With Light (DSLR) with Nicole Mordecai2 sessions (90 min each)June 23, 30 (Tu) 730-900 pm$50The set of photography techniques known as "light painting" provides an opportunity for creating otherworldly and painterly images with our DSLR or Mirrorless cameras. Session 1 will cover a range of techniques that rely on slow shutter speeds, including panning, zooming, painting with lights, and creating abstract images with moving lights. During the class, everyone will practice changing camera settings to those necessary to accomplish these creative techniques. The session will end with advice on how to approach a series of creative photography challenges and how to send your best shots to the instructor to be used in session 2.In session 2, the class will look at each students' best shots from the photo challenges assigned in Session 1. In addition to each student describing how they made each image, the instrucor will demonstrate editing the submitted images in Adobe Lightroom Classic.Between sessions, the instructor will be available during online "office hours" to answer any questions or address issues in accomplishing the challenges.
