Two-Days class: Friday June 25 and Saturday June 26, 10:00 am-5:00 pm
The class will be held outdoors, on the grounds of LexArt at 130 Waltham St. in Lexington.
In this intermediate-level technique workshop, students will learn how to use Genesis Heat Set Paints while layering translucent polymer clay in order to achieve a rich depth of surface on a small polymer object such as a brooch or pendant.
Prerequisite: Students should know how to use regular polymer clay tools, know how to make a skinner blend, and know how to make a simple cane.
Students will need to purchase on their own, the materials on the list supplied. A kit of Genesis Paints can be purchased from the Polymer Clay Guild of LexArt for a nominal price. Please contact mkfirestone@hotmail.com if you are interested in purchasing the kit.
