Since its founding in 1935, LexArt has aspired to enrich the lives of people in our community and bring us together in a welcoming, supportive, and creative environment.

Our Commitments and Beliefs:

  • To maintaining and furthering traditional craft, while engaging new voices, new perspectives, and exploring new technologies.

  • To making the arts accessible to all.

  • The desire to create is fundamental to our humanity, it teaches us about ourselves, each other, and fosters understanding and communication.

  • The arts can strengthen and unify our community.

  • The arts are essential to an open, just, and sustainable society.

We work to infuse the arts into every aspect of our community life. We exist to provide service to our community. We strive to provide support and extend our resources to those in need and those seeking partnership and collaboration. We dedicate 10% of LexArt gallery sales proceeds to our scholarships and community partnerships programs.
