Covid - 19 LexArt Policies

The town of Lexington lifted their indoor mask mandate effective at 12:01 AM on March 9, 2022.

LexArt will follow suit and rescind our indoor mask mandate effective immediately, March 9, 2022.

  • We will continue to be a vaccine only facility.

  • Vaccinations are required (for those aged greater than 5 years) and boosters (for those eligible) for access to 130 Waltham Street.

  • Masks are optional for those meeting the above requirements

  • Masks will continue to be required for all under the age of 5.

  • Surgical or N95/KN95 masks will be optional but strongly recommended if you have a weakened immune system, or if you are at increased risk for severe disease because of your age or an underlying medical condition, or if someone in your household has a weakened immune system, is at increased risk for severe disease or is unvaccinated. Please check with your physician if you are not sure of your health status.

  • If you are not feeling well (symptoms including fever, cough, positive COVID test or known exposure to a COVID-positive person in the last 10 days) please stay home and participate using available remote options.

We will continue with other safety measures, such as social distancing whenever possible, cracking windows, using portable air filters when needed, and providing hand sanitizer and wipes. We will also continue to provide single-use surgical masks for anyone wanting or needing one. We understand that regardless of these measures, instructors and students both may wish to change their plans.  We will offer a full refund to students wishing to cancel classes at this time and will advise of any instructor canceled or delayed classes.

If you have any questions, please email Chase Jones at chase.jones@lexart.org.
