About the Class or Event

From silhouette to portrait, from sketch to sculpture, LexSeeHer's monument project brings the life and experiences of Margaret Tulip and other Black Lexingtonians into greater definition. In collaboration, LexArt, Lexington Historical Society, and LexSeeHer invite you to explore questions of representation and community connection in this special mixed-media installation.

Our Opening Reception will be virtual.  Meet curators Amelia Worth, Celeste Freeman, and Jessie Steigerwald.  

Presented by LexSeeHer, in collaboration with LexArt and the Lexington Historical Society.
