About the Class or Event
Join us September 17 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a demo with Jill Pottle
Collage is an accessible art form for all levels. But for me it is an extension of my fine arts where I use all the tools of drawing and painting to creating space, value, volume in the principles of creating a landscape. I use magazines, papers, that I have created and fabrics to create a beautiful landscape. Then I use paints and oil pastel to integrate the material to get the best link between collage and drawing. The immediacy of using a variety of material can be a lot of fun for non artists as well as artists.
Jill M. Pottle is an accomplished artist from Worcester County who exhibits her paintings and drawings locally and nationally. She graduated from Syracuse University with her BFA and received her MFA from the Boston Museum School.
