About the Class or Event

Join artist Alma Baumwoll on Saturday, April 6, from 1:00pm-3:00pm for this free workshop. Although the workshop is free, donations are welcome! Donations will go towards paying the cost of  instuctor, not iC3 or LexArt. 

Description

This workshop will cover how to prepare materials for basic cordage making techniques. Workshop will concentrate on cordage making, and samples of finished products will be discussed.

Workshop attendees should bring waste that they would like to turn into cordage.

Suggested materials:  thin plastic, plastic shipping envelopes, air cushion plastic shipping material, long shopping receipts, worn out bed sheets, Yard waste (iris leaves, day lily leaves from spring clean up).
