Gallery Hours: Tue-Sun: 11 - 5 (During Shows)

Vase 1 is a stoneware, wood-fired sculpture of a vase with flowers. It was inspired by ‘The Imaginary Vase’ series, a collection of my drawings which succeed on paper but would be “impossible” to create in ceramic. The work is not meant for utilitarian use. We see a “waist” that barely touches the base of the piece, held in place by handles that act like “crutches” to the body of the form.
