Susan McFarlane

Susan was born and raised in Massachusetts where she was constantly drawing, painting and making things. For thirty years she lived in Utah, Oregon, New Jersey, and Virginia before moving back to Massachusetts to live in Reading. Susan earned a B.S. in Design from Brigham Young University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and a Museum Studies Master’s Degree from Harvard Extension. In addition, she is a Certified Zentagle® Teacher. Her artwork has been shown in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. She is an experienced teacher and award-winning wate-rcolorist. She especially enjoys experimenting with texture and “playing in the water.”
