The Biennial is a juried exhibit of art by people who live or work in the Bedford area. Art and craft in all media has been juried by Jane Deering.
Jane Deering, resident of Concord, earned a BA (English) from Regis College and a Post-Baccalaureate from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London UK. From 1999-2004, she organized over 80 art events, travel days and tours to art collections and artist studios in London, Paris and Brussels. She established the Jane Deering Gallery in 2002 on Cape Ann, Massachusetts and directed a West Coast gallery from 2010-2014. The gallery represents emerging and established contemporary artists from the US and Europe. She serves on the Arts & Exhibitions Committee at Concord Art and is a Trustee of the Concord Museum. Deering divides her time between Massachusetts, Santa Barbara CA and London UK.
