Israeli artist Shamai Gibsh's career as a ceramic artist developed both in the US and Israel, and spread internationally through many symposia, exhibitions, residencies, and workshops. Gibsh is appreciated for his vast knowledge, demonstration and teaching of different firing techniques, as well as for his experience and contribution in the revival of ancient terra sigillata techniques and their adaptation to present time. His art has been shown in galleries and museums all over the world, as well as being privately collected and part of permanent collections in Israel, Asia, Europe and the USA.
