This painting is of my favorite place in the world, Rockport. Every summer we stay there. I love the views, shops, art galleries, food, and of course the beaches. It's a special place. The iconic red Motif Number 1 is the greatest landmark of the town, which is why I chose to focus on that. The painting is based on a photo I took. It is done with acrylic paint on canvas panel, and it took me around three weeks of many hours each day and night to complete.
