Description: This decorative bird will wing its way into your heart. Made of recycled denim and other recycled materials, it may be stitched by machine or by hand. Please note that the machine-stitched version requires a small amount of hand stitching to finish it. The hand-embroidery on the wings is optional.

Note: A materials fee of $10 should be paid directly to the instructor at the start of the first class. 

About the instructor:

Cheryl Moreau teaches sewing and textile arts at HATCH, Watertown’s Maker’s Space, sponsored by the Watertown Free Library; see the website http://www.watertownlib.org/hatch. Special interests include textile history, knitting, fabric printing, and designing with everyday objects and scrap materials.
