Botanical Gelli Prints with Brooke Lambert

Description: 

In this class you will learn to make unique and colorful botanical gelli prints. Students will collaborate to make prints together and also make unique prints of their own using botanical and natural found materials: leaves, flowers, grasses, pine needles, feathers, etc. We will provide a variety of these materials and students are encouraged to collect natural materials of their own! In this engaging and creative class, students will gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the medium of printmaking while having fun and embracing experimentation. Wear your favorite paint outfit!

This class is suitable for beginners and can be adjusted for all levels of experience.

About the instructor: 

Brooke is a professional printmaker and painter. She holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and shows her work widely in New England, New York, and beyond. Brooke works in Studio 447 at Western Avenue Studios & Lofts in her current city of Lowell, MA. She is currently represented by Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition in New York. Brooke is a sponsored artist by Akua Inks and Speedball Art Products. She has ten years of teaching experience with children and adults. She currently teaches art workshops and holds artist demos at several locations in MA, NH, and ME.
