Description: Â Don't want to deal with the heat of the flames during the hot summer, take Cold Connections 101 to learn ways to connect metal and stones without any heat!Â
In this intermediate level class, students will learn the basics of cold connection techniques such as riveting, tab setting, loops, and jump rings! These techniques come in handy when someone my not have access to a soldering torch, or when you are working with materials that cannot withstand heating. Students in this class will make several demo pieces using the techniques learned in the class, and one final wearable piece using the cold connection technique of their choice!
Prerequisites: At least one other metals class, or equivalent experience.
