Skill Level: Intermediate. Basic jewelry making experience necessary.

Materials fee: $0, Students are encouraged to bring in their own gold to be melted down and remade into new jewelry.
Description: Ever want to add gold to silver? By using gold from old gold jewelry, we can melt down the gold and make it into wire and beads to add to silver. We will also do keum-boo, a method for bonding pure gold to silver. Adding a little gold to silver jewelry is an effective way to upgrade your silver. We will also solder on gold tubing and gold bezels. Bring in any old gold jewelry you want to use to add to your silver. Instructor will provide gold and silver supplies.
Students are encouraged to bring in their own gold to be melted down and remade into new jewelry.
