Description: Create an Easy Market Basket in just two classes. This classic style is suitable for all skill levels. Made of reed with a wooden handle, and seagrass trim, this basket will be about 6 inches wide and 11 inches long. A variety of accent colors will be available to decorate your basket. All materials are provided. 

Note: 

-This class is open to children ages 12 through 18 as well as adults. Children taking the class must be accompanied by an adult guardian. 

About the instructor: Betsy Fell first learned to weave baskets in the Adirondacks. Basketry is an old craft that offers a way to create something functional, long-lasting, and beautiful. Weaving baskets is a lot of fun because there are always new techniques to learn, new ideas to explore, and endless possibilities for design.
