Introduction to Floor Loom Weaving with Krysten Morganti

Two weeks, Tuesdays (6:00pm-9:00pm) and Thursdays (6:00pm-8:30pm)

Description: 

Start your summer off learning a new skill! This class will take you through designing a first weaving project, loading a floor loom, and weaving up your first piece. You'll learn your way around our weaving studio as you use our looms and equipment, and leave with the know-how to warp a loom and weave fabric on your own. All materials and reference handouts provided - just bring your own two hands and your creative spirit!

Materials fee:

A $25 materials fee will be paid to the instructor at the start of class.

This is a two week class on the following four dates: July 12, July 14, July 19, and July 21. Tuesday classes end at 9:00pm and Thursday classes end at 8:30pm. 

About the instructor: 

Krysten Morganti loves weaving and spinning with every color there is and especially enjoys the challenge of working with reclaimed materials.

She works with vintage and antique looms and spinning wheels that she restores to working condition in her barn in Concord, Massachusetts.
