Description:

Enjoy the opportunity to experiment with color and texture as you create a decorative piece that you can finish in one sitting. These little works of art are needle-woven on a piece on cardboard matte, so they are portable and easy to work on anywhere. After learning a few simple techniques, you will be able to finish and frame your piece in our workshop, and the materials fee includes tools you will be able to keep so you can continue your weaving adventures out in the wild. All you need to provide is your own imaginative spirit!

Note:

-A Materials Fee of $5 should be paid directly to the instructor at the start of class. 

-The LexArt office will be closed October 13th, but that closure does not impact this workshop. 

About the instructor: 

Krysten Morganti loves weaving and spinning with every color there is and especially enjoys the challenge of working with reclaimed materials.

She works with vintage and antique looms and spinning wheels that she restores to working condition in her barn in Concord, Massachusetts.

Krysten is a compulsive teacher and lifelong learner, and may be responsible for getting hundreds of folks hooked on weaving and spinning.
