Market and Garden Basket with Betsy Fell

Description:  Weave a beautiful and useful Market and Garden Basket in two classes. This classic style is suitable for all skill levels. Made of reed with a wooden handle and seagrass trim, this basket is about 8 inches wide and 13.5 inches long at its base. There will be a choice of accent colors to decorate your basket. The class fee includes all materials and the use of tools.

Note:

-This class takes place September 18th and September 19th, from 6:30pm to 9pm.

-This class is for all levels of experience, ages 11 and up.

About the instructor: Betsy Fell first learned to weave baskets in the Adirondacks. Basketry is an old craft that offers a way to create something functional, long-lasting, and beautiful. Weaving baskets is a lot of fun because there are always new techniques to learn, new ideas to explore, and endless possibilities for design.
