Mixed Media Cat Head Basket with Jennifer Weller-Dorfman

Description:

Join Jen to weave a mixed media cat head basket.  You can choose one with a sea grass accent or purple yarn accent.  The basket will be made with dyed black and green reed in addition to the accent color you choose.  The basket measures 9 inches tall by 7 inches wide at the top.  

Note: 

-Students should bring an old towel, a screwdriver, and scissors to class, all other materials will be provided.

-The black reed dye will come off on hands and possibly clothes, and reed is woven wet, so please dress accordingly.

About the instructor: Jennifer Weller-Dorfman is a crafter and teacher who started weaving baskets 15 years ago in Pennsylvania.  She loves creating custom baskets for clients and teaching beginner basket weaving classes.
