Mother's Day Floral Pendants Workshop with Kylie Weinzierl

Description: In this one day workshop, students will construct a floral pendant of copper or brass and silver. Student's will choose from precut flower silhouettes and attach a 10mm silver bezel, then set a cabochon gemstone of your choosing in the center, which can then be attached to a cord or keychain to take home. This beginner friendly class is a perfect family activity, so feel free to come enjoy a lovely springtime activity, bring an important mother in your life, or come and make someone else a gift!

About the instructor: Kylie Weinzierl is a Boston area interdisciplinary artist, with a primary focus in metalsmithing, a background in sound art, multimedia installation and fabrication, as well as glass work, textile, and performance. Kylie received a Bachelor of the Arts from Arizona State University in 2019, and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in February 2024. Kylie is also the Metals Studio Manager at LexArt, and is currently enrolled in the Jewelry Making & Repair program at North Bennet Street School in Boston.
