Description: In this course you will learn how to work with oil or chalk pastels.  You will create beautiful landscapes using materials that create immediate results. You will learn helpful techniques and the unique qualities of working with each medium. Leave this course with the new or refined skills that you need for your advertunes with the distinctive  and portable medium that is pastel! 

Materials: Bring a throw away towel. Other materials for the class can be purchased here. 

About the instructor: Jill M. Pottle is an accomplished artist from Worcester County who exhibits her paintings and drawings locally and nationally. She graduated from Syracuse University with her BFA and received her MFA from the Boston Museum School. Her work is featured in many collections including Danforth Art Museum, and she has shown in many galleries including The Three Stones Gallery in West Concord, and the East End Gallery in Provincetown. She is currently a member of the Fountain Street Gallery in Boston and the Trumpet Gallery of Fine Arts in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Jill has taught art for 38 years.
