Description

In this course, we will explore the "three C's" of stone geometry: cut, clarity, and color, through both discussion and hands-on work. You will learn how to set  3mm faceted CZs (cubic zirconium) using two unique methods: tubing and flush settings. You will also come away from the class with your own setting tool that you made yourself!  Through the process of  tempering and hardening while creating your setting tool, you will also have the opportunity to engage in steel working.

Prerequisites: This class requires some prior knowledge of jewelry making. It is recommended that students take at least one beginner level course before this class.

Materials fee:

A $25 materials fee will be paid to the instructor at the start of class.
