Twill Based Weaving with Jennifer Weller-Dorfman

Description:

Join Jen to weave a Fall twill bowl or a fall market basket with twill accent. Both baskets will have use space dyed reed that is a mix of browns, orange, yellow and maroon. The serving bowl measures 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The small market basket is 10 inches high with handle, 6 inches wide and 12 inches long. The instructor will start the bases of the baskets so students can finish their project in one session. These projects are great for beginners.

Note: 

-Students should bring an old towel, a screwdriver, and scissors to class, all other materials will be provided.

-Reed is woven wet, so students should dress accordingly.

About the instructor: Jennifer Weller-Dorfman is a crafter and teacher who started weaving baskets 15 years ago in Pennsylvania.  She loves creating custom baskets for clients and teaching beginner basket weaving classes.
