Materials Fee: $0 students will need to bring their own materials.
Description: How to paint loose and juicy watercolors that glow. Paul will review the basics of watercolor including materials, shape, value, color and composition. He will show how to loosen up your work with exciting washes of colors that glow. You will work from photos each week, his and yours, you will paint a long as he takes you through each step of developing a painting. You will also get a photo to paint for homework each week.

About the instructor: Paul George has been painting and teaching watercolor and oil painting for over 20 years. He is a signature member of National Watercolor Society, the North Shore, Rockport and Lyme Art Associations, New England Watercolor Society and is a Marine Master Artist at the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport. He has won more than 80 awards, including the two Gold medals and a Bronze medal from the New England Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society and the twice the Award of Excellence from The Gallery at Mystic Seaport.
He has been juried into and participated in more than 20 National Plein-Air events.
