Embracing Abstraction features a range of work from LexArt members selected by juror Nella Lush. All of the pieces in the exhibit have an abstract element or theme. Visitors will find functional work with an abstract design, view abstract painting and photography, explore jewelry and decorative pieces with abstract elements, and discover abstract three-dimensional work in a variety of media. The selected member artists come from many backgrounds; they are educators, home studio artists, craft group members, established professionals, and emerging artists. In addition to the juried works in the exhibit, retail items with an abstract theme are available for purchase in the gallery gift area.
