Peter Bain

Peter began his painting career at LexArt, taking classes with Cape Ann artist Paul George. Peter’s skills developed to the level where he now shows at several galleries and has taken up teaching his mentor’s class. The influence of Cape Ann is apparent in Peter’s work. Boats, rocks, sand, and ocean are featured predominantly in his paintings. Peter has developed into a notably versatile painter; capturing landscapes, figures, still lives, and animals with equal aplomb. Peter lives in Lexington with his wife and two daughters.
