Family Art Day: Hand Textured Metal Ornaments with Kylie Weinzierl

Description:

This three hour ornament making class is designed for pairs, with one ticket for two family members. Children ages 3 through 18 are welcome as half of each pair.

Note:

-Since each ticket is for a maximum of two participants, families taking this class with multiple children should purchase more tickets.

About the instructor: Kylie Weinzierl is a Boston area interdisciplinary artist, with a primary focus in metalsmithing, a background in sound art, multimedia installation and fabrication, as well as glass work, textile, and performance. Kylie received a Bachelor of the Arts from Arizona State University in 2019, and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in February 2024. Kylie is the head Jewelry Instructor at Stonybrook Metal Arts & Sculpture School in Jamaica Plain, the Metals Studio Manager at LexArt, and is currently enrolled in the Jewelry Making & Repair program at North Bennet Street School in Boston.
