Description: The word “photography” literally means “light writing.” If your photos lack a "wow factor," you may not be seeing and using light optimally. Learn from photographer Ellen Foust how to use light to create beautiful photos!

During this class you will learn to see deeply and to effectively use natural light to create sunsets, silhouettes, and perfect reflections. Develop a vocabulary for describing light, from hard to soft, front to back, and warm to cool. Each week you will practice new skills and participate in a “photo salon” to review homework images. All photographers, including smartphone photographers, are welcome. This is a fun class!

Prerequisites: Participants will need a digital camera or an iPhone to participate in the class. Participants also must have a level of comfort with their own personal cameras or phones prior to the class.

Note: Zoom information will be provided prior to the class.
