Sew an Easy Zipper Pouch with Cheryl Moreau

Description: Beginners, you can easily make this simple zippered pouch to hold your cell phone or other electronics. You will learn the easiest possible zipper installation technique. Once you know the basics you can sew a custom pouch for your tablet, sewing supplies, or pens and pencils. The sky is the limit!

Note: A $5 materials fee must be paid to the instructor before class.

About the instructor:

Cheryl Moreau teaches sewing and textile arts at HATCH, Watertown’s Maker’s Space, sponsored by the Watertown Free Library; see the website http://www.watertownlib.org/hatch.  In January 2022 she began to teach at the LexArt Sewing Studio, a new sewing and textile education program for this organization, see the website https://www.lexart.org/. Special interests include textile history, knitting, fabric printing, and designing with everyday objects and scrap materials.
